My mum played Mario kart on my switch, unfortunately she was ill with cancer, but it’s a fond memory I have, I will always keep that console

Switch 1 is my favorite system of all time. It got me heavily into Nintendo and because I like to travel so much it’s very convenient to be able to take awesome games on the go. Not to mention the idea of being able to share a joy con on the go. Love it.

I still remember picking up the Switch on launch day, I got BOTW and it was my first Zelda game I ever played (I was 25 years old at the time) That game blew my mind. What an EXPIERENCE it was! That night is so nostalgic for me already

I can't believe I have 350 games for the Switch. I have beaten about 200 of them so it's safe to say I love the library of games on that system.
Really happy to hear Switch games work on the next console as well, as I will be taking advantage of that.
This video sums up my wants and needs fairly accurately. I looking forward to what the future console brings.

I'm actually still happy with my OG Switch. To me it"s about the games and I sure haven"t played all of them yet

What I want from the Switch 2
- Obviously something more powerful
- Again a hybrid system
- OLED screen for launch model
- Better ergonomics for the attached controllers
- Better eShop (not slow, better search functionalities, less shovelware)
- More advanced activity tracker (I like seeing which games I played, how long I played each of them, when I played them etc)
- Ability to gift games digitally
- A trophy/achievement system
- A better phone companion app (see latest nintendo news, browse the eshop, see my collection of games, and see my friends)

I will never forget waking up super early to pick up my Switch day one at Walmart. Slowly a group of us formed in the parking lot and I was actually really surprised by how organized everything was. The crowd was really excited and good vibes were in abundance. It’s been a great console and really popularized the form factor of handheld gaming devices since it launched. My favourite games have been BOTW, Metroid Dread, Mario Odyssey, and of course Animal Crossing.

Some games I want for the Switch

-a new F-Zero game
-Sin & Punishment 3
-Metroid Prime 4
-Eternal Darkness 2
-a new Xenoblade game

That's just at the top of my head.

A trophy/achievement system. For the love of God Nintendo its long overdue.

An achievement system with coins. Each game can be worth 100 coins and each time your profile gains 100 coins you get an extra life which would be your achievement level.

I just hope the Switch 2 will have a few simple things:
- Longer battery life
- Smooth 60 frames for second by default
- Full backwards compatibility with the original Switch (physical and digital content)
- No drifting
- Reasonable price range

Me and my wife have so much fun playing it portable together or alone. both of us have a system rather than sharing a traditional system. But still able to hook it up to a tv has been so great when want a family game night or friends over.

For about four years to five I fell out of love with playing games. University, moving abroad and all that stuff. But at the beginning of covid, getting a Switch and Animal Crossing, it reignited my love for video games, and in styles I didn't play much before like JRPGs, Visual Novels and the likes of that. Now, I have almost 60 physical games and I'm super into collecting games. So yeah, you can say I love the Switch hahaha

I got a Switch in September 2017 and have loved the system ever since! Amazing library of games - upgraded to an oled model for better battery life and screen (although I am roughly 80-20 docked vs handheld)

friend codes are better because you can change your gamer tag anytime, and it doesnt matter if someone else has the same name

I think what we all want is boost. Higher res, higher framerate.
Just like what PS5 does to PS5 pro. Sure those two are technically different console but since it’s backwards compatible, would love to see it enhanced it
