The word Iran starts with the letter ا in Farsi and in Arabic while Iraq starts with the letter ع so they're really just similar in English

Please stop spreading false information. Iran's name has been the same for the past 2000+ years . Persia is what western countries kept calling it. Then Iranians asked the west to stop calling them Persia.
