Replacement for ScubaPro JetFin? UNBOXING Shark Fins from Reel Diving

Christmas is just around the corner so we though we would reach out to our suppliers and do some un videos boxing of amazing new dive equipment for you, our wonderful GUE audience.

This first unboxing takes a look at some brand new fins called Shark Fins, courtesy of our friends in Sweden, Reel Diving. Are they a potential replacement for the beloved ScubaPro Jetfin? Find out in this video.

As part of the test team for these, they are amazing. The changes of the foot pocket makes all the difference as the shape allows more of the foot's sole to pressure your kick. When you put them on the first time you will feel like they do not move in comparison, its not the case, rather your kick is way more efficient and you feel it as less effort.

My Jet Fins don't have the hole at the tip either.

So why would a diver want these instead of the Jet Fins? If I hear you right, there's no significant difference in weight, so are they stiffer? More flexible? Is the difference in the foot pocket dramatic? Is there a big difference in price?

This fin is good. Very simular to the Scubapro jetfin but with a larger and more comfortable foot pocket. Love them👌🧜‍♂️

I like the cut of the foot pocket. IT feels better at the ankle. Love mine for the last 1.5 years

I can't find the full review you mentioned that you would be doing after the Mexico trip. Did you do one?

The holes on the jetfins your talking about only appeared recently, the original version/1st model is exactly what you're holding.

I prefer the “DeepSix” jet fin, they are heaps lighter and easier to carry when travelling.

Jet fins come with springs now too, this is just a b.s. knock off. Don't support these types of practices, buy the original, support the honest company that created the product first
