I’ve won two cases on my own without a lawyer. One of the cases was federal.

Hey Aiden—I’m noticing a lot of companies, including major ones like Whole Foods and Amazon, no longer using a “TM” or “(R)” with their company name/logo, among a BIG growing number of other small brands (i.e. Whole Foods products) *NOT* using the trademark. This is very hard to research online, so I stumbled across your video here explaining why it may not be necessary. Have you noticed this too, or could you investigate or ask around and find out why so many companies are ditching it? I’d really appreciate it. And it seems like a big deal paradigm shift kind of thing. Thank you! Sincerely, -Sam

Is there a typical cost that one can expect when it comes to registering a trademark? $1, 000, $5, 000, or $10, 000. I am looking at order of magnitude? Also, timing of when you register your business, when you apply for trademark, obtaining EIN, etc. What is the recommended order?

Love all of this! Thank you! Question on point #3. I have a brand and an online store(Shopify). I only plan to sell my branded items. But I have various types of items. Hoodies, mugs, t-shirts, anything I can get printed on. Could I use the class 35 or do I need to list the separate classes and pay for each class?

What should I expect for the cost of service and product registration? 🙏

In the USA the first-to-use has more rights than first-to-file. You can get a TM and years later someone else using "your name or logo" can invalidate your TM because they used it first in commerce. Sucks but that is the way it is....

So a person would have to be already using the name and logo before filling ??

It's easy to change your tm from yr name to yr business name it just costs I think a hundred dollars. Just change it in time

Does this mean you can't trademark something until you put the good or service out to the public? Seems like you odd you can't trademark something then release it

What is the big deal about only puttingthe trademark in your name and using it. In your business? Can't I just grant myself my business? The privilege to use it?

Hopefully more of these video's get produced with the advent of AGI because Google is taking copyrighted content, which is why there's a currently a New York Times lawsuit against Google. So I wonder how far slogans, phrases, content can be trademarked (btw, also a fellow Coloradan).
