Decades ago the BBC made brilliant dramas that stand the test of time and worth watching to this very day, i offer in evidence Blott on the Landscape, and Tinker Tailor followed by Smiley's People.
Can't watch or listen to anything the BBC has to offer any more, beyond saving.

Many of us will recall both Yes minister and Yes Prime Minister. IMO these were the best two things ever produced by the BBC for a whole load of reasons some of them extremely important and illuminating. However one still can't help but thinking that they only made our TV screens because we had a conservative government in office at the time. Likewise to a lesser extent Alan Barstard. We of course, soon enough noticed that Labour governments in office where either just an incompetent, narcissistic and corrupt as Conservative ones or worse especially when it came to starting WARS, and selling off public assets for pennies on the pound.
