I've come to this video having just followed your channel and worked through a lot of your back catalogue. Good vid, and great build, but most impressive is seeing how far your style and production have improved over the last couple of years :)

If you buy MDF templates it's a good idea to do a flood coat of thin CA glue along the edges - the templates will last much, much longer.

In general, one should consider making purchased templates a "master template" that is only used to make _other_ templates. Especially for templates this pricey.

Nice video! I've prgressed to rhe same stage as you. I'm ready to build my own body...and buy a neck. I'm doing a 180° opposite! Strat body...chambered with "f" hole and a Tele neck. Blending the best of both guitars into a hybrid. Tele bridge and pickup and a Bigsby. Gonna be different for sure, but it'll suit my different personality! Ha ha! I'm gonna sub and watch the series. original titebond is a better option for guitars. I researched it when I started building. the original titebond holds up better under tension
