SPITFIRE 15m - SILBERHORN HIKE & FLY - SPEEDFLYING

I recently decided to complete a hike I've wanted to do since moving to Switzerland 2 years ago. All the way from Stechelberg (800m) to the base of the Silberhorn (2800m). After getting into speedflying recently, I felt this would be a great opportunity for a fun morning hike & fly. The hike took around 3h30 to complete a gain of 2000m in altitude, it was tough, more like a climb at times and in places quite dangerous, definitely one of the harder hikes in the area. However, this made for a rewarding flight down and the views along the way were incredible. It was amazing to see a completely new part of the mountains I call home. I'm no Jamie Lee, so I wasn't hugging the terrain the whole way down this time, but it was great to scope out possible proximity flights for the future. I had a blast. Made friends with goats and ticked another first off my list. I can't wait to see what I can do with this area in future.
