Friedrich Hirzebruch Dissertation Prize 2018 – Jessica Fintzen (English Version)

Jessica Fintzen, Ph.D., was awarded the Friedrich Hirzebruch Dissertation Prize 2018 for her dissertation On the Moy-Prasad filtration and stable vectors in the field of mathematics at the Harvard University in Cambridge, USA. With the award, the German Academic Scholarship Foundation (Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes) honors exceptional dissertations in mathematics, natural sciences and engineering.

The award is named after the late mathematician from Bonn and long standing honorary member of the German Academic Scholarship Foundation board of trustees and is funded by the Theodor Pfizer Foundation (Theodor Pfizer Stiftung).
