They say the old ones are the best, and this one is no exception. Let Me Call You Sweetheart is a lovely waltz that was written by Leo Friedman and lyrics by Beth Slater Whitson all the way back in 1910 and first performed by the Peerless Quartet in 1911. This was one of the songs that my nana used to sing to me when I was very young as back in the early 1970's we would sing these old songs on a Saturday evening after dinner. The song was recorded by Bing Crosby in 1934 and also recorded by other artists including Pat Boone in 1959, Fats Domino in 1965 and even Shirley MacLaine for Downton Abbey in 2012. I'm playing this in the key of G Major and then move it into C Major. I hope you enjoy it.

gorgeous, thanks Neil. Are there any other YouTubers or arrangers you could recommend? I really like the way you arrange for piano, I imagine the organ playing has given you a real solid foundation for it, I would love to know if there are any others with a similar style/approach. Thanks

Love this version. Went to Music Notes to purchase it, but it's not there. Hope it's coming soon, and yes, keep the oldies coming. I especially love the key change in this version.
