I really enjoyed this, it’s always nice to see what kind of meals people are making in the fall because I really shift in the kind of stuff that I’m craving and your meals are always helpful examples.

Now it's cold in the UK I've started eating porridge (oatmeal) again. Dirt cheap, the oats are 90p a kilo, the soy milk 50p a litre, and I get frozen fruit which I put on top. But those nuts and dried fruit look good too. I just polished off a pound of grapes as well. Oh and as a stereotypical English person I drink gallons of tea. Black, lapsang suchong, delicious.

I'm in the same boat about just cutting back when the weight starts to creep up. My body is much more eager to hang on to it now. It's definitely the night snacking so I just have to get up and busy myself then the urge to snack subsides.

I use frozen cocowhip mixed with cocoa powder as a low calorie ice cream alternative

If you want a tasty chocolate drizzle on your ice cream, you can mix cacao powder with water and just drizzle that on there. It also gets crunchy because it freezes. We did that as kids all the time :)

I've been pro zero calorie sweeteners from the start, but starting to doubt it with these new studies. So curious

Instead of meatballs I like to use the Trader Joe's meatless breakfast sausages with pasta, I think they go really well with tomato sauce. 👌🏻

This looks like a yummy, healthy day of eating! 🙂 The pasta thing is so funny to me, I honestly prefer whole wheat to white pasta, to the point of being a bit disappointed when I have regular pasta at a restaurant. Now legume pasta I find kind of weird, texture is never on point. It is also pretty expensive, so I rarely buy it.
