It's funny. We had a Norwegian Forest Cat for 13 years and we had no idea he was one until toward the end. He was a beautiful lovely boy. I am sorry we named you Fluffy you deserved a viking name! But we loved you all the same <3

I live in norway. I had a forest cat for 22 years. He spent at least as much time outside as inside come winter or summer, and sometimes disappeared for a couple of weeks, but he always returned. He scratched up an entire sofa and sometimes enjoyed scaring dogs and their owners walking by by jumping at them from a tree by the road. Also he begged for treats at the dinner table worse than any dog.
10/10 would cat again

I had one of those cats (i'm from Norway btw) and the nose of that cat was even bigger then my own nose and my neighbours (from Bosnia) at the time thought it was a tiger

I love these cats! I met my fiancee when I went to Norway as an exchange student and we decided to get a wedgie together once I move to Norway bringing along my own cat which is a Siberian Forest Cat (I'm Russian ^^) Now we live together and are about to get married and our cats get along amazingly. Both Norwegian and Siberian Forest Cats are amazing companions! :)

i love norwegian forest cats.... i recently brought home two kittens <3 they're mixed breed but i'm pretty sure they're part weegie! very, very fluffy. feels like petting a cloud 10/10

I have one. Very large (twice the size of a normal cat, and they eat twice as much food!). Very playful and excitable. And they’re also very vocal - they chirp and chatter all day long
