I love this video of Dean as I myself also was brought up as well with a father who was known as the best optician in town. My passion became wanting to be a optician
and I loved working with people and getting to know everything about them as Dean mentions. My challenge though was I was a small 19 year old that nobody wanted me to adjust their glasses because the man must be better, so I had to learn the craft perfectly to prove myself. As I did. 36 years later I still love my profession.

So glad you like Dean's video! While not an optician myself, I just joined the Licensed Optician team in Canada in a communications/marketing capacity, and have discovered what a wonderful group of individuals they truly are! It's a great profession that is just scratching the surface on what it can teach people about their vision health. Congrats on your career, loving what you do is one of the most important keys to fulfillment!
