AVKANS 30X PTZ Install at New Hope Norfolk COGIC

We are back at New Hope Norfolk COGIC to add another PTZ to the front of their sanctuary. We will be adding an AVKANS 30X PTZ to their existing 2 camera install.

Hey thanks for this. I noticed as you worked with the Atem mini that your preview and program angles were different. Our church just added a second camera and we use the Atem mini pro but our preview and program angles are the same. Any advice on how to have those be separate?

Hi Ajay, Question, We're considering this setup currently, but we were going straight HDMI, or ask for more funds to buy POE switch and atem (because as u say I'm sure they will eventually ask for more cameras) But, y ddint you go straight HDMI instead of SDI to HDMI? The Atem and ptcz Cam both have HDMI right? What's the reason for using the converter? length/distance of the cable?

Hi Ajay, just wondering about the 20x vs 30x AVKANS.

We have a 20x model which is great, but we are usually at max zoom (without using digital zoom). Sometimes the picture can get a bit soft, I'm guessing due to being zoomed in all the way. We had our non-ptz cameras stolen a few weeks ago, so we're looking to purchase 2 more AVKANS. Would a 30x model zoomed in at the same distance offer a better picture, or exactly the same to the 20x?

That camera is a rebranded Polycom HDX PTZ Eagle Eye cam, very expensive but they are built by people who cut no corners, well built.
