We placed a transparent board in the middle of a London park, and asked strangers to confess a secret that no one else knows.

They can choose whether to show their face, or to stay anonymous behind the board.

Something no one knows about me -
I was very suicidal at a extremely low point of my life and made several attempts to end my life. I've checked myself in & been committed multiple times throughout my life, especially at the heights of my addiction. I used to self-medicate, so as to NOT be ME! ..I suffer from bi-polar disorder and now a recovering addict. I got my kids back after years of court battles and I'm newly married to the most wonderful, beautiful inside and out, kind and patient woman whom my kids can look up to and respect. Also, we just had a little boy together..(7mo) I'm very blessed! 🙏❤

The definition is as follows: "Impostor syndrome is a psychological pattern in which an individual doubts their skills, talents, or accomplishments and has a persistent internalized fear of being exposed as a "fraud". Despite external evidence of their competence, those experiencing this phenomenon remain convinced that they are frauds and do not deserve all they have achieved." What she describes is putting on a mask for the public, not actually being successful and feeling like you don't deserve it.

I find it funny that the ones that say the reason “I don’t say anything is because I don’t want to be put in a box or be judged” are saying this whilst tarring everyone with the same brush.

A secret that I haven’t told anyone is that I don’t think there is a god. I come from a strict catholic family and my parents have high expectations for me to become a model child. My mum even said to me that if I wasn’t a catholic I wouldn’t be aloud in the household which scares me still thinking about it. I get told things like this more than occasionally and I don’t know what to do. I can’t imagine telling my parents about it and I keep thinking about the disappointment in my Dad’s face if I told him. I’m actually a still a kid (12 years old) and I’m worried that things unimaginable will happen to me when I’m an adult. On top of that most of my extended family work or contribute something to our local church and talk about religion constantly. My parents even enrolled me into a Christian school, of which a high school student who identified as non-binary was threatened to be expelled if they ever mentioned the topic. It’s not a big secret compared to the ones told in this video but I just felt the need to write this.
