Traditional soup made from potatoes, beans and sauerkraut.
INGREDIENTS:
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, chopped
1 tbsp flour
41/2 cups of water
2 small or 1 large potato, peeled and diced
1 cup ham, chopped
1 jar (500ml) sauerkraut, drained and rinsed
2 vegetable stock cubes
2 tbsp tomato paste
1 or 2 bay leaves
1 can kidney beans, drained and rinsed

Thank you for the recipes. My husband came to us when he was four from Hamburg Germany. Do you know how to make dumplings? His mom used to make them but he tells I don’t make them right . She made a lot of soup also. He actually remembered some of your other video dishes .

Hi, Oma taught me how to make the soup as well.she was Born in Prussia, Germany.She passed away 10 years ago at the age of 86Would you ever consider crocheting doilies?Nancy

Which flour should I use ? And I'm from india sauerkraut is not available here what should I do, , I really wanna try this out.

looks so good ... but the jota giuliano-dalmata with pancetta, cragnolino sausages and borlotti beans of my grandmother was and still is my favourite ;-)
