Hi, can you pls clarify this:
In your first command to take database plus archive log backup, you gave the format as ' . So, the control file backup piece, archive logs backup piece are saved at this location but why the datafiles backup piece is stored at a different location (your FRA) ? Same happened for datafiles backup piece in level 0 backup.

Hi Mallik in a rac series video your question was what is the use of local listener - local listener will have information about the instance load status which pmon register every 60s, which helps the scan listener to divert the incoming request to least bother node, which is having less connection or its idle, I'm I correct ? Please let me know.

2nd question is taf - taf is used to failover the select statement when the particular instance is down, in tnsnames we have type = basic, select, session in terms failover. Am I correct?
