I like to think it was his father planting the mysoginy in Ezekiel, so when he got lost for so long his mother got a divorce or something and taught him a better way, because his mother WAS mentioned in his audition tape and Ezekiel felt really bad when he accidentally hurt her

So following this, when he comes back home after being rescued from the island his mother teaches him in a more positive way (though I doubt Ezekiel would return to the show/all stars, unless he got a new contract with the assurance that he will be taken care of and treated more fairly, but if he did then he could redeem himself with national tv and the girls in the show that were offended by his comment!)
