I gave my testimony in front of our church many years ago now, but as I stepped out and began to go back to my seat, many of the women grabbed my hand and said you should minister. You are a blessed minister. I pulled my hand back and said no I am a woman there is no place in the pulpit for a woman. I love to teach the children. I love to attend women’s Bible studies. I love to stand proudly beside my husband, who is a minister, but I don’t ever want to disgrace my God by trying to put myself in a place. He did not ordain.

This is why I believe we are nearing the last days as the scripture teaches. Not because of the wicked things our culture is participating in (all societies have gone in that direction) but because of the condition of the church. The Lord Jesus said. "when the Son of Man comes will he find faith on earth ?" The "church" of today is embracing the world system at an incredible pace.

I went to New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (1980-81) but not to preach! Religious Ed/Social Svcs Master's degree. I really stand firmly with Pastor John, and can't understand any woman thinking it's ok to preach! God is clear on this.
