This is an awesome prank and doesn't deserve the thumbs downs or hate. It plays on the driver being gullible and that crash was in NO way the kid's fault. I think they did nothing wrong. That second driver deserved a reality check because the fact is he was driving unsafe, probably entirely too close to the driver who stopped abruptly. People need to suddenly stop like that for REAL reasons, so it's important that drivers pay attention and not ride people's bumper. It's not like the kids were motioning for the driver to stop and the driver obviously didn't see a real rope so their reaction was perhaps knee-jerk, but the only person who deserves criticism in this video is the second driver.

Why was that guy tailgating so closely in the first place?? If they were going faster and that guy had to stop in a real emergency, it would have been a hell of a lot worse. I just hope this was a lesson to the drivers, as well as the pranksters.

Don't know what country this was in, but here in The US, if anyone causes a crash (property/bodily damage) they are held liable for the damages and may end up in prison. I have a sense of humor but this is plainly stupid.

When I was a kid we used to put a purse on the road with a wire and when they past by and stopped to go back we pulled it back in and hid  down over the bank, this was in the country and cars were going at least 50mph when they would see the purse!!   It was fun, they would back up and forward and backup again to try to see where they saw the purse.  Sometimes they would get out when they heard us laughing. Later we had a dirt bike to scram if someone got mad and wanted to chase us!!  Fun times in 70's!! LOL
