The Daily Paper said Dutch Themed Dinner. I wonder what it will be like? Can it really be Dutch Themed?

Dutch is a deep apple pie. 😊 Less sweet.... That is the biggest complaint non American makes, how sweet everything is here. Glad to see you taking full advantage of the cruises on all the different cruise lines.

The small shrimp are called Northsea-shrimp in the Netherlands. Very tasty 😊

Bay shrimp and scallops are smaller because they are captured in shallow (Bay) waters. Deep ocean stuff is bigger and more expensive (ex: Diver Scallops)

Yes. Bay shrimp means the little bitty shrimp, usually used for things like shrimp salad. Shrimp cocktail should be the larger shrimp, with no mayo dressing.

Now a days the food in the buffet is the same as fine dinning, everything is standardized to save cost.

"Bay Shrimp" is a name for those small pink shrimp. But San Francisco isn't really know for them. It's more of an Oregon / Washington area thing. You should come on over to the SF bay regardless. We have good food. I can give you a tour of the Google offices.
