10 Underused Characters That Should Be Used More! (Discussion)

I definitely think Tien needs more screen time. As well as Piccolo. They’re the characters who are smart and are strategists and pretty strong, but never seen. They’re cool and badass in DB and Z, why not here? Super has just became the Goku and Vegeta show.

Underused Characters: Everyone except for Goku

Toriyama, we get it. Goku's gonna beat the main villian every time. But why not let other characters fight some weakers villians or something smh.

What sucks especially for Gohan is that he still has the potential to be very interesting while still being in character. His intelligence could be very well utilized, whether it's helping Bulma with the technological aspects, Laying down plans for upcoming fights, etc. But for some reason every character that isn't a fighter except Bulma gets fucked in the ass (well, maybe. Depends on if she and Vegeta are into that sorta thing)

I think Shin (Supreme Kai) is highly underused and has insane potential. Thanks to Zamasu, we know that a kai doesn’t have to be weak. What if Shin started training and fending off threats directly?

what about : Farmer with Shotgun, he was the first person shown to fight the Saiyans on screen.

I definitely get what you mean about trunks and goten looking the same age, and I do agree that is rather see them look a bit older. But remember Gokus' age and height in Dragon ball.

It might be possible for whis to teach some of the humans how to use god ki so they can at least be usable for battles and not just fodder

I feel like Android 16 should have been brought back to life somehow. We know very little about that character and being one of the antagonists in the Cell Ark it would be nice to see him develop as a character. Gohan seemed to really like 16
And was quite pissed when he died. Idk maybe Toriyama could bring back 16 and make him more relevant to the series. He was also my favorite Android aside from 18.


Another character I feel got no development and needs redemption is Raditz. I mean come on, he was Goku’s brother and had so much potential to become better both in strength and personality wise yet he was thrown under the bus very early on in DBZ and only makes a short Cameo in DBS. He deserves redemption.

If I was a Dragonball character I would bring all of the killed Kai’s and I would wish that a clone of Grand supreme Kai made

This is gonna be controversial, but I think we need more of Vegeta. All throughout Vegetas existence, it's just been Vegeta getting his moment in the spotlight, then having it taken away. We need at least 1 arc where Vegeta gets the spotlight, and keeps it.

Considering how Toriyama threw Yamcha under the bus for the backstory of Future Trunks (I.E. Bulma and Vegeta's one night stand) it would be nice to have Future Trunks (and everyone else for that matter) learn that Bulma lied about Yamcha cheating on her first, and admitting that she was covering her own reputation.

Given their respective behavior throughout original DB and the early arcs of DBZ, it makes far more sense that Bulma would be the unfaithful one in that relationship.
