I am signed up for the webinar and currently feed my 2 yo and 11 yo dogs raw with veggies and fruit. I use about a cup of peas and I am interested in whether you would recommend not using peas at all. TIA

I give my girl homemade food.. chicken, rice, carrots..plus probiotics, vitamins..etc..she also loves that Caesar Pate stuff..so I mix that in..on occasion she gets fromm game bird recipe dry food with a little meat mixed in .. she is in hospice care now as we cannot get pseudomonas under control.. she's become resistant to about all antibiotics. She's a rescue jack Russell mix 13 and a half....I love every second with her

Oh no ! My dog got super picky as she got older ! She’s 15 and was turning down steak . But she would eat Freshpet, which has pea protein! Now she’s in CHF really bad . I wish I’d never fed her this . She is 15 and I’m about to lose her . What can I do ?! She’s on lasix and heart meds . Won’t drink water without lots of help . Her tongue goes through the motions, but doesn’t touch the water in the bowl. So I have to hold water in a water bottle cap up to her tongue so that she can actually get water in. I hate myself right now. She already had a heart murmur. I wish I had just kept her on the normal Caesar wet food, but she just wasn’t eating it. And she wouldn’t touch anything home-cooked anymore either. I didn’t want her to die of starvation. I tried it as a last ditch effort because she had liked it years ago. I believe it’s what caused the heart murmur to start with and here. I am stupidly, feeding it to her as she is dying.😭😭😭😭😭

Ironically, just about every vet I’ve ever talked to has said the same thing. I have a Doberman. I definitely was not thinking about feeding grain free.

My dog, miniature poodle, is soooo fusy. Refuses kibble, but also fussy about my homemade food. I can't do raw, which she loves, but not the pet store bought raw. She wants it right from the butcher!
Are Smack and Primal decent kibbles? They're both raw, but Smack is dehydrated and Primal is freeze dried. I heard freeze dried is best. They're both ridiculously overpriced.
