I need to testify!!! I was saved on mother's day of this year. He took my hand and led me to the altar. I was also blessed by the fact I had both my parents there to witness! I've been singing my whole life. Started in church with my mom. I was barely tall enough to reach the top of the pulpit.
As I became a teenager, I stopped going to church, but I continued singing, just not for the Lord. I cut some demos with a producer who'd take me into Canada (only about 15 min from here) and sing in underground piano bars. Later I was singing karaoke and was asked to sing in a theater show that they were doing. I stayed with them and performed in several theater shows. Then, one of the ladies I met singing and am friends with asked me to join a group. We did some shows at the casino here. One thing I LOVE, even more than singing lead, is harmony. I thank the Lord I was blessed with that talent. It's always just been natural to me, as it is with my parents.
Anyway, when I became saved, I asked my momma to sing a song that we used to sing together. My parents are from West Virginia, so I've always been around the good ol southern gospel. The song was "the sun's coming up". She couldn't remember the words, so I looked here on YouTube for it. When I stumbled upon the video of it, I was just blessed. And fell in love with ALL of the songs and the beautiful harmonies. All the singers are just WONDERFUL! I can listen to these songs all day! And I'm always so moved and feel so blessed Everytime! And I praise his Holy name that I'm now a child of God, and I will be singing praises unto HIM! Sorry it's so long, I was just moved to tell my story, and to thank you for these videos. PRAISE GOD!!!

Praise God! I miss this type of worship. It's so different today in most churches. I feel the Holy Spirit all over this.

Love this song and facts of it. Happy Resurrection Sunday, I got to be in a little country church today, my birthday 4/12/20 . I would have never thought we'd lose the privilege of going. We were able to go, that's a wonderful birthday gift. Now, these songs to bless the rest of this glorious day. Thanks to all amd most of all our Saviour, Amen.
