Used to be friends with this girl at work that was a lesbian. All she ever talked about was being gay. Gay tv shows, gay pride parades, gay this gay that. One day I finally said “ look I don’t care that you are gay. What else is there that you are or you enjoy that we can talk about. I don’t constantly talk about how I’m straight, I talk about hiking and video games and nature. What besides being gay do you like doing that we can talk about?

She immediately called me a homophobic bigot and said she wasn’t going to talk to me anymore. Good riddance, people who hyper fixate on this stuff bring nothing to the table

There are many gay conservatives. they're just not loud and obnoxious. They are conservative. They want to live in peace and harmony. They don't want any attention, just to be left alone and respected. But they are out there, you'll find them, just look for the educated ones, that's who they are, the conservative gays are educated, and respectful people.
