Hello There!👋

Navigating Academia is back with a new video. Today's video is about Should You Publish Journal Articles As A Solo Author?

An academic journal or scholarly journal is a periodical publication in which scholarships relating to a particular academic discipline are published. Academic journals serve as permanent and transparent forums for the presentation, scrutiny, and discussion of research.

A single author also shows that you don't ride on other people, you can do it by yourself. However, most journals prefer multi-author articles. Collaboration is also very important as it improves science. A single author's paper, especially for graduate and postdoctoral students, may have significant career value.

In this episode Dr. Singh discusses Should You Publish Journal Articles As A Solo Author. Hopefully, you will enjoy the video.

Very straightforward video. Could you kindly also post a video about the efficient collaboration modes and possible traps in non-efficient collaborations? What are the main tips for productive collaborations?

I am following your videos, they are all very intellectual. I want to know, in making academic poster, is it really need to be your work/research? Can I make a poster about a lecture or and educational presentation?

Hi again Dr Singh .... quick publishing question -
Is there any value at all in an "Acknowledgment" in a published article?
When someone helps with the research and is acknowledged in the article, but not listed as an author

Your videos are always useful, thanks so much for creating such a great resource!
I have a quick question if you have time. Is there any advantage in publishing in different journals each time? So far my 3 papers have all been sent to the same journal and I feel that it may look weird if everything I write is published in the same place.
