Moral of the first story…Don’t bite the hand of the person providing for you. Talk about stupidity on OPs family. Then for her mother to sue her…cut them all off and dump the weak boyfriend while you’re at it.

Story 1 - Go no contact with the leeching mother; she can move in with the brother. But first, point out that it was her and her son’s selfishness that caused you to cut them off. If lack of health insurance led to the dad’s death (not likely) that’s on them, and only on them. Find a better boyfriend, too.

Wow. What a normal and healthy childhood I had. The kids in our family always knew that our parents loved us. When our mother became a widow with 5 children the love and care never diminished. Money was often tight and sometimes non-existent but the love and care was unending. I wish our dad had been able to live long enough to see his kids grow up to become decent adults.

How on earth anyone can tell someone that ghey have to give uo the new house she bought herself and give it to her brother for free while she spends years paying it off and move in to the old house that she bought for her parents, not 1 IQ point between them. OP did the right thing selling parents house she owned and cutting of the health insurance. Should just go lifetime NC.

Story 2, ex wife critical of him spending time with his bio son and "not " showing love to his step daughters which was untrue yet ex wife says she only wants to show her love to her bio kids and not the stepson. What a HIPPOCRATE
