Hi Tim, I’ve been doing this for quite some time, I get an empty plastic toothpaste tube and cut of the bottom and clean it out. When I’m happy that it’s clean I then put my made up paste into the tube, it can be a bit messy but when you’ve filled it half way start folding the end of the tube two or three times and staple it tightly down, you now have a dispenser that is air tight and keeps the paste moist. The one I use has lasted me for at least 5 years and is only half used. It’s worth the initial effort and lasts for ages. Cheers Jimf

Hi Tim, easy to follow vid many thanks. Just 1 question regarding only using it for dry fly fishing. I was always told to add mud to the leader when fishing sub surface such as nymph, washing line or pulling in order to take the shine off the leader which can put off the fish. on some days when the fish are not taking I have done this to the leader and caught. Not sure if this made any difference. do you bother to do anything to take the shine off the leader?
