Music, spirituality and the whisper that connects us all | Angie Nussey | TEDxNickelCity

Having battled with depression and acute sensitivities to the world around her, Nussey speaks eloquently about her past and enjoys sharing ideas about what our ideal future will look like from the humanistic side.

Through words, music, and understandings influenced by leaders such as Eckhart Tolle, Wayne Dyer, Nelson Mandela, and Marianne Williamson, Nussey expresses her own point of view on what our spiritual future looks like and shares how we all must prepare for the discomfort of the future and the mourning of our past.

Angie Nussey is an award-winning Canadian recording artist.

Since 1999, she has released six, full-length albums and won over 15 industry awards for songwriting, vocals, and performance. Her most recent album “Still Hope” was released in September 2012 and delivers the warm, yet powerful sides of this compassionate songwriter.

You won’t feel comfortable when your kneeling before the Lord. Read John 3:3-8, 16, Idahoans 16. You will continually break down unless you truly walk with your creator. Angie, we have met and the quote from the bible is “be Still and Know That I am God”. The prophet, living word of God is what we all need.

She is only talking about a lot of hypothetical imaginings, which might apply to her way of living or thinking, but does not necessarily apply to everyone. She has not explained what "spiritual" means. Until she does that she has said nothing at all. Music is NOT spiritual, it is emotional, among other things. People believe things because they want to. Her song is just pointless. What is "stillness"? What is "inner"?
