I'm in the industry for over 33 years. I have watched many videos on building in Ghana, as a matter of fact I'm strongly considering establishing a branch of my company in Ghana. With 35 years experience and 18 owning my company, I'm sure I know a thing or two. This man is the first I have seen and can say is a legitimate general contractor. The fact that he can tell her the building process without research or looking at note, tells me he's good.

As a Canadian who is interested in starting a life in Africa I am really impressed at the knowledge of the contractor and he even spoke a few words about trust. If I do decide to live in Ghana he would be the first contractor I would want to see. Amoaa, good job inviting Mr Watson to speak to us

This man is knowledgeable. I have worked in the construction industry in the UK, and this seems to be correct.
He even mentioned the gradient of the floors foundation level, which is good for the rainy season.
He is so correct about the 50mm available space, it makes a big difference, truly.
I had to replace a lintel in my house as the backwall was falling. The ordering was not a problem and the guys did a brilliant job. It has been stable since, very impressive, it saved me so much money compared to if the wall had continued to sink.
Brilliant brilliant video, very informative this man is.
Aha, reminds me of my relatives. Love it!
Thank you lady, this was indepth.
Respect Sir

Wow. I’m not even halfway in yet and I’m in love 🤩. Feels like my uncle teaching me all I need to know! This might be the most informative and comprehensible video on building in Ghana. Great job Amoaa.

Aaah my brother, you hit the nail right on the head. Trust is everything and unfortunately, a lot of us in abroad due to bad experiences with so called building contractors and foreman’s have lost trust and confidence in people. I was painfully duded by someone I thought I could trust and like you said was even going to introduce other people to him until I realised all the lies and lack of work he hadn’t done when I had paid for. It’s only by the Grace of God that I’m still able to continue with my project. Ghana needs more people like you with integrity. God bless. 🙏🏾

WOW! Thank you Mr. Watson! Thank you both for making this video. Building can be so scary so it's nice to have someone patiently explain it so well and with the current cost, it's so helpful so that we don't get tricked or wasteful when you are just trying to build a family home to pass down to you children and grandchildren. I will be keeping this video close because I hope to save money and build a home there. Bless you both for providing helpful honest information that is so needed. If I build in Ghana I will be looking for Mr. Watson.

33:48 - Big bro spoke TRUTH! I know you can't know a person completely from what you see on SM, but I can tell he's a wise man. People today fail to realise this simple truth. Word of mouth sells better than any modern day advertising.

Mr. Agbeko is very knowledgeable about construction. Combining theoretical knowledge and practical experience is essential in being able to educate and make the client feel confident about giving you the contract. I'm sold! Coming your way, Mr. Agbeko!

He is what we call a custom builder here in 🇺🇸 USA
Good info about the importance of never cutting corners especially when it comes to building a house or commercial building. Doing so will not only hurt the customer but the contractor will have a short career because word travels fast when things go wrong. The only thing that should ever change is if the buyer and builder decide to go with better quality materials that go above minimum requirements.
