How to make breakout in Unity part 9: Data Persistence. In this episode, we make it so the life and score variables remain persistent when the next scene is loaded. This is done through static variables, which are universal values that can be accessed by any other variable and are not deleted when a new scene is loaded, making them very dangerous (especially when used carelessly).
