What a disappoint that the Department of Health would KNOWINGLY conduct this type of action without even consideration of the PUBLIC! Where are our Maui State elected officials demanding answers to what the scope of service was going to be in lowing standards! More and more we the public are seeing right before our own eyes of an abundances supply of COMPLACENTCY. Elected officials not stepping up to do the right thing from the wildfires of Lahaina, to the fire boat issue and now, bring in an out of state poor emergency medical service provider with a poor record!! Our State is in such a horrible place right now with NO LEADERSHIP AND NO ACCOUNTABLITY! I'm reminded of the old saying...be prepared for SELF RESCUE! No one is coming to safe you.

Similar situation happening here in San Bernardino California however the county has decided to just get rid of AMR completely there's still serving us until October 1st but then a new company is going to take over

They can apply with Honolulu EMS, big shortage niw. Better stability and benefits.

Seriously?!!?!!! WHY IS OUR GOV’T SO CLUELESS!!! DOH- THEY DONT DESERVE TO BE TOSSED OUT LIKE THIS….AND HOW ARE THE 2 COMPANIES GOING TO WORK TOGETHER WHEN TRANSFERRING PATIENTS TO AND FROM MAUI & KAUAI!?!!! 2 separate systems, 2 different companies, fighting to get the same positions and we expect them to just be ok with you not reporting why???
