I have never liked how In games you have to fight a super powerful boss, but when you actually get them, they are so much weaker than they were when you fought them.

This game has taught me that you should most certainly never jaywalk, because the little masked gremlin is gonna slice your kneecaps off

An easy thing you can do to make fights easy is called the “Soultimate cancel”. Where you basically just start your yokai’s Soultimate immediately after they attack and immediately cancel it, if the yokai u are doing it on is the one on the left, then they will attack again. Only works in the first game and the switch version of the first game

Fun fact: you can actually do this fight at the start of the game without the yokai cam (there's a medium exporb you can use on buhu, smalls on cadin, Hermes badge for buhu + sell everything you can for fish) and with some luck, you can heal and let buhu inspirit and make snartle unable to do actions while cadin does damage (soultimating while guarding is VERY good to stall for a few turns then heal hp). It's actually a fun challenge, I recommend recommend to try it.

I got him on my first try, I gave him marbled beef and than I popped a whisp with some hearts in it👌

Thank you much for you guides!! I beat the game and i loved every bit of it but i'm about to work on the post game. Because of you I got Shogunyan and he pretty much helped me beat a lot of bosses! I'm going to get Snartle!! wee!!

I remember after having the game for one or two days, I saw the "ANY LITTLE BRATS WHO DON'T FOLLOW RULES AROUND HERE?!" go across my screen and was so confused. Snartle showed up and kicked my E-ranked ass in two seconds. I was really surprised and blown away at the time, haha.

Got him on the first try! Even got the heart whisp and started and finished with a yokai with popular and used marbled beef.

This is what i do. I figured this out today. To be fair, i haven't recruited him using this method, but this is a way you can beat him before Post Game.

My main fighters in this fight was: Shogunyan. Frostina and Darumacho.My Level 40 Shogunyan was a typical melee fighter, with Serious and Rough attitude.
Level 36 Frostina with Serious and Brainy.
And level 30 Darumacho, who was the key character in this fight. I gave him the Calm and Serious attitude, to make him a blocker.

I am new to this game, and im sure there are better tank yo-kai than Darumacho. He's just the one i used.

Step 1: When the battle starts, throw the Marbled Meat at Snartle.

Step 2: Instagate the Soultimate move for Darumacho (or whichever Yo-kai you're using for tanking) But do not Spin, press the marbles or draw the lines. Just let your tank stand there charging.

Snartle will ALWAYS attack the one who's about to Soultimate.

Step 3: keep your tank alive. When he starts to guard, he will be able to withstand about 4 or 5 hits, before you need to heal him. Shogunyan and Frostina kinda just wailed on him, until he fainted.

And when Snartle uses his own Soultimate, just swtich to your other three Yo-kai.
It worked for me. Atleast in beating him. I have not recruited him using this method.

What I did is going with a team of Shogunyan, Betterfly, Komane, Blizzaria, Shmoopie and Komiger, start giving it’s favourite food in the boss battle and then start using the soultimates in this order: Bonito Blade, Spirit Burst, Crazy Lightning and Shiny Snowdriffs. I then would fix it with Shogunyan, Komane and Betterfly and I would be healing with Nom Burgers whenever my team was in bad health, specially to Betterfly. If Snartle started charging up For Naughty Brats and I didn’t cancel it, I would give a Nom Burger to Betterfly and try unleashing Bestacular to heal the team back. I of course equipped Shogunyan with the Vampiric Fangs.
Now my team consists in Shogunyan, Snartle, Betterfly, Blizzaria, Komane and Komiger and I could defeat Wobblewok with it.

I did the easy jaywalk method was rank S. Thankfully after being so dang adamant about getting him i finally convinced him to join my team after promising to be a good boy from now on.

I did the watch thing and I got it. I wanted another jibanyan because I wanted the second to be my video file. I remembered this viddo after I got walkappa and headed for the cross walk. After I incounderd him, my little lv 23 cadeble was owning snartle. It was pretty easy to diffet him but it took a while even when you can't speed it up because you need to keep a eye on Heath and feed the their food. I didn't get far enough in the game to get his favorite food so I tried all my foods. none of them was it but then I put chicken thigh and he loved it. after a few tries I finally got his with the wisp thing. I didn't need population yo kai I busted needed a healer, tattletell

Took me 15 different snartles (4 hours with a pinkypoo btw ) but then I accidentally got the forever flower then went down and got the betrayed blade also on accident sooo you tell me if I lost out 😂

Another thing you can do is use QR codes for the crank-a-Kai and you have a small chance of getting him, that’s what I did. (The second game)

If u have chanin (or guy with sensei hat) his soultimate move raises ur attack so I'm grinding a komosan and chanin to beat his boss form with a rank c watch (I'm mad that I didn't know the watch rank was mattered in the battle)
