Biggest difference on the new car? The new spec Cup Sport 2 N1 tires. I just put a set on my 2016 model and the difference was huge. At Laguna I’m sure it’s a second a lap faster now, especially with a proper alignment

I watch these videos and still can't believe that the 2017 SS1lE still rocks super car times. I bought that car because of that test and I regret not having it now.

Johnny, Randy, and a new Gt4...Xmas complete 🤟

I don't care if this car doesn't have the numbers; I would buy this over the other "digital" auto cars out there no question. People get too caught up on the numbers but at the end of the day is all about the experience...

Shows how much of an animal the 981 gt4 was/is.

I’ve owned a C6 stick, a 370z stick, 997 911s pdk and an R8 smg . I’ve tracked a 458, a gtr and Huracan at exotics racing. My experience has led me to believe that a mid engine stick car that is not super powerful would be the most fun car for canyon carving as I get older and petrol engines fade away. So I started looking into the NA Caymans for a sports car that I ride into my retirement years because Porsche handling is super spot on like Ferrari. But then all I see about the new GT4 is “bad gearing for the road”. I’m super ssd about this. Any aftermarket rear end gears to tame the long gearing?

Better gearing and twin turbo? If this car had 650hp, it would be the fastest on the track. I'd buy it.

Sounds fantastic when you’re on it doesn’t it.

Why it have only 414 hp in America? Here in Germany it’s called with 420hp..but pretty sure the same engine or ?

How does the C8 beat this for best DRIVERS car?

Okay fine Porsche, if the Cayman needs to be gimpped on purpose, can't you AT LEAST make an Mid engine 911 GT car (preferably with the GT3 NA motor, and isn't a $500k special edition)

Your race cars are midengined 911s. Why can't you sell one...

Something happened to the Host? He is speaking differently than couple of Years ago, like He is struggling. Hope He is okay

“Remember it’s only got 414hp.”
The 2020’s are starting off nicely.

This is the only true sports car in the competition. A car that requires serious input from the driver and only the driver, not assisted by a bunch of electronic nannies. Is it any wonder that Randy called it a “race car”. Nuf said

Every street review: "The gearing is too long for the street, you'd need to take it on a track to reap the benefits."

Randy on the track: "The gearing is too long."

Well done and great driving always. For just pure driving fun I would take that Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 over any other Porsche available. What an incredible driver's car whether it wins this competition or not.
