To find three equivalent fraction for 2/3, we can multiple 2/3 by the equivalent of 1/1. For example:

2/3 x 1/1 = 2/3
since 1/1 = 1 and multiplying by 1 does not change the value.

If we multiply:

2/3 x 2/2 = 4/6

Here again, since 2/2 = 1 we aren't changing the value, just the way it is written. Both 2/3 and 4/6 are equal to 0.66 (repeating).

We could also multiply by 3/3, 4/4, 5/5 and so on to find more fractions that are equal to 2/3. As long as we are multiplying by the equivalent of 1, we'll get a fraction that is the same as 2/3.
