Hyla Vacuum Cleaner Review / Best Vacuum I Ever Bought

I've NEVER recorded a video of myself, I've never done a video reviewing anything and I definitely never wanted to post a video of myself to YouTube, but I just had to share this!

I bought a refurbished Hyla GST water filtration vacuum cleaner and it arrived today. Brand new ones from a dealer can cost as little as $2400 or as high as $3700.

I chose a refurbished Hyla with a one year warranty over any standard brand of vacuum I had purchased in the past... Hoover, Eureka, or Oreck. I considered a Dyson and a housekeeper had recommended that I look into a Shark vacuum. Then, an ex-Hyla vacuum salesman recommended a brand I had never heard of... the Hyla. I did my research and a week later, I bought one.

This was my first time using my Hyla GST vacuum. Yesterday, I had thoroughly vacuumed my entire house with a newer bagless vacuum. It took me several hours to complete, so today the carpet appeared to be clean, but was it really?

While shopping for a vacuum brand, I considered several water filtration vacuums. The main 3 water filtration vacuums I considered were Hyla, Rainbow and Sirena. I chose Hyla because of the fact that after watching reviews I noticed that it does not need a Hepa filter and the exhaust was still dust free. An online video review that I watched showed the reviewer content with Rainbow only having trace exhaust dust near its Hepa filter. In the same review, the Hyla water sufficiently filtered the vacuumed particles without throwing dust back in the air and the reviewer appeared a little confused, he checked the exhaust area again, and then he moved on with his review not sure what to say.

My husband came home and commented that the house actually smells fresher and cleaner. I'm looking forward to less dusting of furniture.

If you would like to read the details on where you can buy a Hyla, here is a quick and easy link to Amazon. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases, however I only endorse things that I really believe in. This Hyla Vacuum cleaner is definitely a game changer in my home and a brand I can support and be excited about. My home doesn't only look clean, but it actually feels and smells cleaner.

I've now had it almost 1 1/2 years now and still love it's cleaning performance. The only issues I've had with it so far has been a plugged hose. It is a little tricky to unplug when the stoppage is in the bend of the hose handle. Other than that, it's been very reliable. I use it regularly as both a vacuum and as an air filter.

My grandma bought a Hyla back in 2001 and loved it.

I like these but they are hard to get parts for. Dealers don’t last long anymore due to the internet.

Try using it on your mattress. It works very well. Also, if you bought it through a Hyla dealer instead of eBay you would have received a warranty with the unit. They are great machines, I love mine.

Its a good thing you didn't pay full price because that vacuum was the worst one I have ever had. It was after I got a shark that I realized just how big a pain in the neck the hyla was. Dealing with and disposing the water is the worst. Every time you take the lid off it pees crap water all over the floor. You literally need a towel every time you use it. Hopefully you don't have a septic tank because as recommended, if you pour that down your toilet it will clog your whole system. It is also advertised as an air purifier but that is simply not true. You can feel the air coming out of the side case of the vacuum when it's on, proving it is not a fully sealed system and its just re-dispersing dust particles back into the air. Not worth 1, 000 dollars. Also, don't tug on the hose too hard. If you break the bucket that will set you back another 230 bucks.
