The Peak Design Tech Pouch is the one to beat, Linus Tech Tips LTT Tech Sack is a new contender and tomtoc's Organiser Tech Pouch is a great affordable alternative. In this video I have a detailed look at what each one offers.

This channel is here to give you ideas and inspiration when it comes to finding great Everyday Carry, Travel Gear and Gadgets, on the back of solid and detailed reviews alongside years of experience, which I hope will make life and travel just a little bit more frictionless and fun.

Here are links to the products featured. This can consist of Amazon affiliate links and supplier affiliate links and website links. See below for more on affiliate links.

Products Featured in the Video:

Tomtoc Tech Pouch:

My name is Jonathan, I have a passion for all things gadget, travel and EDC (Everyday Carry), which has filled both my personal and work life for many years.

I welcome any feedback on my videos or the channel in general in the comments. See below for more on this.

Product Sourcing:

When it comes to sourcing a product for review, I will usually either  purchase and item personally or reach out to a supplier requesting a sample for review.  Many suppliers are supportive if they are confident in their product, appreciating the value of greater exposure.

I am sometimes sent a product by a supplier which I may include if the product fits planned content and I believe will be of interest to you, my audience. The product needs to be worthy of a review and I always make it clear to the supplier that they cannot influence or be involved in the content in any way. It is not in my interest to review inferior or poor quality products and therefore as you might expect many product offers are politely declined.

Any sponsored videos (paid for reviews) are clearly stated as such so there can be no misunderstanding.

Sometimes a supplier will provide a link to the product or the supplier which I am happy to include in the description.  Sometimes I will be provided with an affiliate link so I can earn a commission on sales and this helps to support channel costs but never at the expense of an honest review. There is no cost to you and in some cases discounts can be obtained via the link or via an included code.

If a product I have reviewed is available from Amazon I will often include an Amazon link in the description.  As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. If you purchase a product or service with the links that I provide I may receive a small commission. There is no additional charge to you.

Replying to Comments:

I really appreciate the feedback in the comments - I find it a source of knowledge and inspiration - so thank you to all of you who take the time to contribute. This is not just for me as the creator, it is a valuable source of information for all readers of the comments. I have recently found that if I continue to respond to all the comments as the number of videos builds, it takes significant time away from being able to produce new content which would be very counter productive! So my aim is to read everything I can and reply when I can, after each video goes live for the first few hours at least, and beyond that when possible. I'll see how that works out 😊

Please consider subscribing and being notified to keep up to date with new video releases.

Thank you for supporting the channel.

Tomtoc wins it for me. Half the price just as functional. Well built. I love mine.

I really like Tomtoc because of it's affordability, being nearly $25 cheaper is a big deal to me.

Had the Peak Design for about 4 or 5 years now and it’s still in immaculate condition and I’m not careful with it. I love it.

I have an Inateck pouch, it is HEAVILY "inspired" by the Peak Designs pouch. I have had it for about 3 - 4 years, and it is still in perfect condition and it only cost abou 22 EUR. I was looking for the Peak Design but at that time I could not find it in Spain, and buying it from the USA to ship over was laughable in terms of price. Sometimes you have to make due with whats available in your market.

Drink every time he says “Linus’ sack” 😅 seriously though, great video. Didn’t even have two of these on my radar until now. Thanks and keep up the good work!

The tomtoc extra piece holds switch games, so useful for those that use this as a switch (+ other things) case

Nice review, thanks! Personally, I would choose the Peak Design Pouch. I prefer its fabric, overall look, and design. I'm not a fan of big logos and wouldn't want to carry a "sack" with a Youtubers name on it. The Tomtoc pouch looks lower quality to me, and I don't like the idea of copying someone else's design. I don't mind spending more on better quality.

i’m not an SD card user, but i imagine being able to grab them all on a little insert and set them next to the computer without needing the whole bag could be pretty nice workflow-wise. tomtoc might be onto something there

My shortlist came down to the Peak Design, Evergoods CAP 2L or the Alpaka Tech Case Max. I got the Alpaka, which is big and blocky, but fits everything I need for a commute day - including tech items, tools, med and repair kits and a small pencil case. Also the “blood orange” ripstop nylon interior fabric is just groovy. All three are very good options, though.

Ok, late to the party but I nearly choked to death on my coffee as we prepared to get a close-up of Linus' sack. Omg I needed that, Jon.

I have the Alpaka Elements tech pouch and it works really well for me. Very happy with the internal orange material which makes it easy to find anything and it is also quite competitive in terms of price.

Super dooper budget friendly version and my personal favourite and indeed 'Honourable mention', must go to the £9.99 large black pencil case available at your local WH Smith, does the job, no features, no protection just a zip top bag, smashing !

Even though I'm intrigued by Linus's sack and what a sack it is to behold I'm all with the Peak design pouch, I use it for work: carries my mousemat, wireless mouse, numerous cables, power bank, more cables, pens, sticky notes, plug adapter.

... I never realised the function of those two grab straps at the base - they're perfect!

Definitely the Peak Design tech pouch. It's the best organizer I have ever had. Btw did you know that you can fit iPad mini into PD tech pouch?
