Yes! Be the lighthouse not the tugboat. The tugboat goes out and back and out and back, resuing ships, one at a time as they are stranded on rocks in the ocean the lighthouse stands still and rooted and shines it's light to show everyone the way. I love this acronym it's great! Thank-you Louise.

Hi Louise, I truly value the insight and AVOO strategy. It is easy to avoid or hide from the truth of one's own spirit. I have loved people since I was a child. I care a great deal about the people in my life. Although I have been disappointed in the past by failed relationships and lost friendships, I have never lost my true passion to help others when I can. For years, I built a protective wall against new relationships because the pain of others effects me deeply. I am ready to tear that wall down and accept others as they are without experiencing emotional pain. I am a highly sensitive person but due to my life experiences, I have toughened up a bit. I cannot thank you enough for inspiring me to build a better life for myself, as well as help others achieve their goals. This is quite helpful as I take my first steps in moving in the direction to become a life coach. The first question that I have been asking myself is; do I like me, and do I like my life where it is right here right now. What do I first like about myself and what would I do to accept me or change what is that I have not accepted about myself. There is indeed much that I must reflect on but, one thing that I have discovered that has brought me to this point of even wanting to take this course is that I am valuable in this life. I feel kinda privileged to be the first to comment here. But, thanks so much. It's been a day on Udemy with your course and already I can sense the changes. My history to this point in time has been a tough one with hurt and brokenness. To sum it up, it involved the church; a failed marriage and an excommunication by the church for a mistake someone else made. But I'm looking forward with vision and goals, knowing that a reboot in life is perfectly possible...it didn't feel like that a couple of months ago, but my journey brought me here and it's awesome.
