Unboxing Enchanted Forest | Fairyloot October 2023

SCREAMING CRYING THROWING UP this is such a good Fairyloot box, and dare I say that I think they won the battle of the book boxes in October? The Enchanted Forest box was one that I didn't intend to get, but as far as book boxes go for autumn this box was perfect.
Between the book choice, and the book customisation and the items, Fairyloot have absolutely nailed this October YA box!

I’m really torqued about the overlays because I don’t have Emily Wilde’s….and I really wanted it so it’s like salt in the wound. I do really like the embroidery kit.

I am very angry about the overlays XD I am subscribed to the Adult and they put this in the YA box, so basically people who got the book might not be able to get these as it is the YA box :/ they are gorgeous but reselling is already insane for them

This box was top notch! My jaw hit the floor when I saw the page overlays. I really hope they continue to do these for future boxes.

This box makes me regret canceling, it's so good! But they made me use all my skips this year. 😢 Stupid new system. 
I think they need to put the Emily Wilde's overlays in their Fairytrove, so Adult subscribers can get them too. It's not fair, since Adult subs are the ones who received the book. I'm not hopeful though.

I really hope you keep your YA Fairyloot box subscription I love watching you open them! you inspired me to get the YA Fairyloot box subscription and now I like to watch your videos to see your opinions on the items while I wait for mine! (I live in the US so you always get your box way before me 😂) Anyway great video! I loved this box too I think it is my favorite so far! I’m just mad that the overlays are too big for the normal hardcover version of that book so in order to use them you have to have the fairyloot edition 😭

Why they did the overlays in the YA box for a book that came on the adult sub i dont know. I dont have the book, its a shame they didnt do something like divine rivals. They are beautiful though, i hope they do more 😊

Fairy Loot was out of the park on this one. The embroidery kit feels so autumnal. Theme on point. I finally got my box today!

Mine spoon looks like that too. I think it was designed that way. It’s so darn cute!!

Hi Ness,
I think it is a design choice to have the little spoon look like that. All spoons that I have seen have the little 'damage' parts, I think to make it more authentic.
Also, my needles for the embroidery set were taped to the cardboard of the thread. I hope yours are too and you haven't lost them.

I didn’t expect page overlays and I’m pleasently surprised! might be a bit of a bummer tho if you don’t own the corresponding book or if adult subscribers aren’t able to purchase the overlays in the fairy trove?

This was my favourite theme and the box didn't disappoint! The items and book customizations are both amazing!
Fairyloot must also be a fan of your unboxing videos. This box shows that they can listen to subscriber feedback and definitely do new, creative items. Nov and Dec YA boxes also sound really good with the redesigned covers, artists and new items. I hope they end this year strong 🤞🏻

this box made me WANT to cancel. I didnt get the emily wilde book. Was before my time, so the inlays are useless to me (they dont fit in my softback). The spoon is just ugly IMO, and the black and red bag closers are tacky and as much as they are useful, they are too tacky for me. the embroidery kit would have been cool if it was pretty, but it was just more Grim than pretty. Its the first box where I honestly just wanted to cancel. :o

I was so excited for the embroidery kit as well! My great-nan used to do cross-stitch with me and I've always wanted to pick up proper embroidery. I had no idea what the overlays were though 😅

I have been waiting for this video just to see how you liked the box, I'm big on fairies so was looking forward to the box but I was so disappointed and I thought you'd be the same lol.
My spoon was just as bad as your with the glaze.
I thought that the bag clips while practical were a bit cheap looking.
I loved the photo album it was my favorite item in the box.
I was so excited for the Emily Wilde item as I'd not long read the book (I got it out of the library so I don't own it) so I was so mad with the item. I would have been happy if the overlays would have been for the book of the month and the embroidery item was the Emily Wilde item.
I thought the book design was great, I'm glad they didn't keep the white and just add foil coz it would have gotten grubby in my hands lol.
I agree with you on the signature, I'd rather digital signature and awesome redesign over pen signed and minimal redesign.
