"Sorry Suzanne" written by Geoff Stephens and Tony Macaulay, was recorded at the Abbey Road Studios on January 27, 1969 and was the Hollies' first song featuring Terry Sylvester, Graham Nash's replacement. It was released by Parlophone as a single on February 28, and reached #3 on the UK singles chart in March 1969 and # 56 on the US Billboard Hot 100.
