Planing a 2-Inch Thick Cypress Board with a Grizzly 15' 3HP Planer with Spiral Cutterhead

My dad and I spent the day planing cypress boards that he will use in the construction of his house. This video shows us planing a 2" x 12" x 48" board that he will use as a stair tread. Out of frame is a 1.5 HP cyclone dust collector that pulls the shavings from the planer through the flexible hose connected to the top of the planer.
