I'm 72, diagnosed with Afib 8 years ago. Take Sotalol and Xarelto to manage. As years went by my going to take a leak nightly went from once or twice to 6-8 times nightly. Micro dosing 5mg of cialis daily has reduced that back to once or twice nightly. Nothing short of life changing. Helps with my mild ED as an extra plus. Had no noticeable effects on the Afib.

How awe inspiring, for me, to watch how you've gotten better and better as a leader in this community. You are comfortable in your skin, and it shines through.
I'm so delighted we're working together.

Had a bit of arrythmia, and possibly AFIB, as I lost 90 lbs carni. It happened mostly at night after serious exercise. I made my own electrolyte from bulk Mg, Pot, Na(redmonds sea salt.). Did help. But, it was mostly reduced thru time with regular exercise and regular eating chicken liver or bratwurst. I was nutrient deficient and did have heart damage to heal. Have no heart issues now except calcium as proof of my poor past life performance. Any more can hike 15 miles on Mt Baker with 3k+ elevation gain like I did yesterday. Be a health warrior, the World needs it.

My afib of 30 years is almost completely gone after going on a keto diet. My heart used to flop around daily. Since going keto, I’ve had a couple episodes rather than the daily flip flop. If I lay on my right side, it always flip flops, so I avoid laying on my right side.

I've been in constant Afib for 8 years. I've met with several elctrocardiolost and they said that even two ablation procedures would probably not work.

Got AFIB that appears infrequently but very interested in other discussions about cofactors, minimizing risks or relationships to other NCD.

Off topic question: what does a high CIMT thickness mean despite no evidence of plaque, as measured by CIMT and CAC ultrasounds?

Not sure if y'all have interviewed Marty Markary...He discusses the concept, "the most heavily over medicated society." There's probably a balance somewhere. How do we get to "is the drug effective in relationship to its side effects;" and when/how do we employ as rigorous a de-prescription process as the prescription process? Potentially, prescription might be better as a two way process.

Long and hard athletic activity in your 40’s and beyond causes afib (see the Haywire Heart book). Strava doesn’t help, everyone is pushing it and being competitive later in life. Do short and hard, or long and easy

I take Eliquis and Entresto so would it be safe to take a baby aspirin?

Great video. I hung onto every word you said about the fish in your chest. Not sure if it's the same, but I've seen the term 'tachycardia, ' and was quite alarmed when it happened to me. Since then I started taking 25-50 mg of Metoprolol/day, and haven't had a repeat event, though still experience an irregular heartbeat from time to time. Ever since I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism decades ago, I experienced similar events. Presently, I'm an expat in the Philippines, and don't know whether the TSH labs are accurate or not, or whether my thyroid is trying to kick in again since I've eliminated wheat from my diet, adding extra hormone to the synthroid I'm already taking. Wondering if you had any input on this. Thank you again for this great video, and overview on Cialis!

What would you recommend for nonvalvular afib ??

I have frequent extra systole heartbeats, if i sit in a certain position and also laying down in bed mostly within de first 5 min i have extra beats with a fast chamber answer. Also i have paroxismal afib if i have a episode which is only a few times a year i take 80mg of sotalol and hope it stops the afib. Now my cardiologist prescribed crestor i take 5mg and i feel the heart sensitivity i have is less profound, i still have some extra beats but much less then before taking crestor. Is crestor able to lower the trigger that could set of heart disturbance due to it's anti- inflammation effects?
