Htop Is Great But It Uses The Arrow Keys. Yuck! (#shorts)

Htop is one of the more popular programs on Linux. But there's a big problem with it--htop doesn't use the vim navigation keys! HTim, is htop improved, it has vim key bindings (h/j/k/l and g/G) and it also has a visual mode that can by used by pressing 'v'.

Using arrow keys in the terminal after being used to Vim sucks! But, if this fork really works and doesn’t have all the bugs, why not to make a pull request to the original Htop repo, instead of creating yet another project?

And now you cannot type 'h'/'j'/'k'/'l' characters in search/filter mode because these keys work just like arrows globally within UI. What a nice and well-thought htop replacement!(No)

This is an unnecessary fork imho, the current release of htop can use Vim bindings if you hold down Alt + (h, j, k.l). And also Emacs-like with Ctrl + P (previous) Ctrl + N next.

I think people start exagerating with vim keys all over the place seriously. I am a vim user since fedora was still radhat 3. And nowdays you can buy different keyboards that has arrows keys not so far. I use vim and vim like programs (with movements like vim ) 70%-80% of time but I dont loose time trying configure or find a fork for a software that use hjkl and co. What about dfgh is better or is because in history on old keyboards that were THE ARROW KEYS.
I dont mind use it and if I find software that has these key setup I feel like home but it became tiresome. Is like emacs users that use caps in place of ctrl. There is no win. Always would be explanations for the both sides.

I don't get it... So what's wrong with arrow keys? vim key bindings drove me crazy... always needing to exit insert mode to use them drove me nuts.. jmho
