Hi Sir, I got a problem that I use a parameter/measure to let user can choose what kind of attribute criteria they want then separate the product level as better and best two level, visual works well but when I wanna calculate the how many product are best and how many is better than I got problem. seems parameter can not dynamic to change the table, only visual, is the current Dax query method can let me build a new measure to based on use selected result ?

Thanks, actually I also needed it. Despite it was simple to create the measure from scratch, it speeded up the process as I had around 10 filters on a single visual.

Hi, thanks for this video, but I find some limitations. I have similar request, and when I look thru your tutorial, I see the Measure is restricted and fixed to as its name "Total Sales for Alabama". This measure is not that flexible as expected to reflect the actual filters selected and changed by the user. Isn't it? Can you elaborate if it's doable to make the measure for Total Sales for selected Filters, instead of the fixed words by "Alabama"? Thanks a lot.

Hi Patrick, very interesting. I'm trying to create a measure and maybe you can help me... the measure should filter when the value of a column in one table is equal the value of another column in a different table. In specific where the region of the seller is the same of the region of the buyer. The fact table is linked to seller id and to buyer id, the seller table has seller region column and the byer table has buyer region column. I can't use calculate to set as a condition seller.region = buyer.region...

Hi, I love your videos and have learnt a lot from them. I have a question though, do you think you can help. I have a matrix with store names and 2 columns for Sales (Same Values). I want to be able to use 2 separate date slicers to filter the 2 sales columns and then calculate a third column to get the difference in sales between those sales values filtered by different dates.

Q: Can we make a nice org chart on Power BI with the native visuals or with any custom visuals when our data feed consists of 4-5 levels with 40+ employees.
