I actually wanted a f150 lightning but wasn’t going to buy because of the ccs network inconsistency. But now come January I will get a lightning and would consider a Rivian if they supported the tesla network😊

You do realize you're repeating Elon's talking point when say CCS is terrible because it was designed by committee? That's where you lost all credibility in this conversation. Industry wide standards are supposed to be agreed to by committee. Only a libertarian with no understanding of how a standard operates would argue that NACS, which fails to specify much beyond a plug specification, is a standard. Tesla's weak sauce, rushed, reactionary NACS spec release literally says, "use CCS protocol" because Tesla doesn't want to actually open its protocol, and they must not think much of the idea of sharing it with others.
