I also made a good trade yesterday by purchasing some Feb 25 puts in the VXX. 20 minutes later some one mentioned those puts as a unusual activity on CNBC whick helped the price go up and allow me to close at a food profit.

Please go into detail why it's important to analyze a lower time frame to see if there is momentum in a stock. I saw you discuss this once when you opened the room to newbies and you went down to the 15min time frame to discuss the underlying good or bad that could be affecting that index, etc...it would also be a nice if you did a video as well thanks.

I think there will be ups and downs, but more downs for now. We could see a change in direction with the Fed meeting although I suspect the trend will remain to the downside perhaps until we get closer to the March Fed meeting. Be careful everyone.

Thanks Doug, In days like this should we consider stock"s implied volatility as $vix for SPY? I mean a stock with low implied volatility like CVX has a better option pricing?
