Cool stuff. You can use mag drives to keep the motors dry. Epoxy on the shell will help it stay dry, or you can vapor smooth some abs. Love the channel man.

You have to do a lot of maintenance on a DIY but if I may, I suggest using type 130 sealed motors, try tamyia's torque tuned type 130 motors, seal them by hot gluing over the connections soldering, and a plastic plate over the underside

You need to get some hydrophobic coating material to coat all your electronics, motors included and that can make it all waterproof

I coat all my speed controllers and receivers in non conformal coating. Non waterproof servos can be disassembled and coated as well. Brushes on clear, and after drying the stuff can be totally submerged without damage. I figured this out from all my 3d printed boats....

Be careful when the speed control burns up it can get stuck in open throttle position.
I cut the tip of my finger off, when testing my 500 amp airplane on my bench when it took off across the top sticking my hand.

Great video! Do you have more footage. Have you been able to upgrade the camera? I would like to see more.😁

U could use magnetic Drive with magnets inside and magnets on the propeller so no cables going outside

You need to POT your motors to waterproof them, that helps a lot 😁👍

Conformal coating everything inside forgot getting a perfect seal as for the motors getting stuck I guess just don't play in salt water if its normal water doing that idk!

Do you use corrosion x? Seems like the motors would be good if you hit it with the majik sauce ;) big up just found your channel on shorts love it. Been building and flying fpv for ten years n wanted to send some love!

Grand! Look for a channel called great Scott! which shows waterproofing circuits. I think he said epoxy was best :s but everyone on yt seems to use an acrylic tube. You should consider a good tubaware with a gasket seal and use grommets to feed the wires in? :o some used an endoscope-fiber optic wire :) impressive diy nonetheless I'm impressed

Next time just take a little bit more time to waterproofing and you'll be good other than that it was pretty damn good better than me LoL 😂
