About APMG's ACO, RC and IRC certification scheme.
Lawrie Kirk, APMG Business Development Manager for Australia and New Zealand, provides insight into the new APMG Accredited Consulting Organisation (ACO), Registered Consultant (RC) Independent Registered Consultant (IRC) accreditation scheme, its' assessment, and what to expect as an RC.
Clients need to have confidence that an organisation can deliver a consulting assignment and that the consultants engaged not only have the correct technical knowledge but are able to tailor this knowledge to suit the needs of the organisation. The rigour and credibility of the global APMG ACO Scheme is based on our independence verified through the accreditation of the scheme by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS).
Consultants can be either sponsored by an APMG ACO and designated as a Registered Consultant (RC) or hold their own, unaffiliated accreditation as an individual Registered Consultant (IRC). RCs and IRCs are assessed on their competencies, skills, and methodologies in alignment with UKAS accreditation requirements – APMG accredited consultants are therefore renowned for their expertise.
