Beautiful stitching!! 👏❤👏 I love ❤ the trick with framing smells with dollar store frames, ❤ using washi tape around a bamboo hoop for finishing, ❤ using a beeswax product on just 1/4" of your metallic threads so they don't unravel. OMG! You will have to put out a video just showing these. Happy Stitching!

5k, Bridget, I have been doing my small framing that way for years. The difference is I place the glass over my stitching, trace it when I find the right spot. Then use a rotary cutter and cut just inside the line. Works like a charm. Take care.

Congrats on 5K! I came after the fact but I'm glad to be here regardless. I just finished all of your Flosstubes over the last few days and am so glad to be caught up so I can interact! Love the banter, you remind me of my mother and I. All the beautiful fabric and different coloured aida you use has really inspired me to cross stitch on different colours other than just white and black, but I don't have access to many colours, so I'm wondering if you have any experience or opinions on dyeing your own aida? ~ Monique

Hurray for 5K subscribers!!!

Yes, you definitely have to have a tighter stitch for amigurumi so that the stuffing will not show. Also, make sure not to over-stuff too tightly because it will stretch your stitches (ask me how I know this and how many times I've un-stuffed and re-stuffed projects). It's not hard to start one from scratch -- the magic circle can take a little bit to learn but it's great for making stuffed toys.

Maybe Bridget's blackwork SAL could become some form of wand case or mic bag?

Washi tape for decorating your hoop was SO SMART! I have so much washi tape....

Hahaha actually laughed out loud at the saying on the hoop. 2022 has already been a crappy year for me with death in the family, having COVID, and having to get a new professor at uni because the one I had was extremely unhelpful. So yes, please no hold that drink
