The Board nominated three persons to fill the board vacancy created when Ms. Kilderry resigned. Mr. Robert (Bob) Cormack received six votes on the first vote for a nominee. Only five votes were required to secure the nomination. The second and third nominees were not voted on because it was impossible for either of them to receive the five votes needed to be appointed. This was a roll call vote for the eight sitting board members.

The “Dog and Pony Shows” in the Peter Yarnell President era:
(you know the one Alex Rajan is just salivating to return to)
The last time Dr. Yarnell held a public interview, it was when Christine Yardley was “appointed” to the board. The public during the previous election in which she ran for office and voted Yardley out of office. She did not run in the election in which the Coalition’s questionable candidate resigned because of a job conflict with the employer, the state of NJ. Dr. Yarnell and board friends conducted their “public interviews” to replace the resignee. Yarnell totally disregarded the general public’s vote, who had removed Yardley from office, and appointed her to replace the NJ employee.

Guess it’s just happenstance that Mr. Yardley brought his own car to that specific “interview meeting” and by pure luck he could leave, with their children, who just happened to also be there that night…right after her swearing in! Christine drove her own car, miraculous set of circumstances for a “public interview” on fair grounds. Before everyone had taken their seats at the “Public Interviews”, it was in the bag, folks! The Yardley’s came prepared for the scripted outcome of the “public interviews” and “public input”. Is that what Alex Rajan is campaigning to return to under Dr. Yarnell’s leadership “how he did it back then”? The “dog-and-pony-shows” and the fake interviews for the public?

Earlier, Peter Yarnell was on the board when another candidate was selected to fill a vacancy after she had been previously voted out of office by the wise Pennridge public! This superior candidate was later found guilty of an ethics violation for voting on matters that enriched her family members while serving on the board. (Mr. Yarnell was aware of the ethics violation and did nothing to stop it.) Peter Yarnell has no regard for the public’s opinion, but he goes through the sham of a “public interview” process. Who needs the dog-and-pony-show that Dr. Yarnell was leading? It’s now clear this morning his co-candidates under One Pennridge have become indoctrinated to his ways. Yarnell repeatedly used the vacancies to reinstate his spending buddies after the public voted to oust them at election time and Alex Rajan supports returning to the days of Yarnell’s leadership and uses them as his barometer.

FACT:
Dr. Peter Yarnell has been on the board long enough - 28 years long.  It’s time for him to step aside.  He thinks he has the privilege of telling other board members how they must conduct board business – by his rules.  One Pennridge candidates seem to be of the same cloth – everything must be as they see fit or it isn’t right.  Yarnell presided over the sham public interviews where Christine Yardley, a like-minded big spender, was reappointed to the board.  The fact it was a public event did not make it any less pre-ordained that she would be selected that evening.  She had most recently been rejected by the voters when she ran for office, but Dr. Yarnell and friends selected her anyway.  So much for public interviews and public input.
