Filter Function Date Range Criteria in Excel

This video illustrates how the FILTER Function can be utilized in Excel to filter a data set based on a Date Range. Since this illustration has both begin and end date filters, it is also an example of the FILTER Function with multiple criteria. When this function is used with multiple criteria, the criteria arguments must be enclosed in parenthesis and multiplied by each other. The second part of this demonstration explains the logic behind how that works.
